Description

A semi-evergreen hedge that will be nearly fully evergreen in mild winters when it becomes established.

A popular hedge in Great Britain now for many decades as its glossy green small leaves and dense habit it make a tight well formed hedge in a short time. It produces sprays of small white flowers, these are rarely seen on hedges as most are trimmed away before flowering in late July.

Privet is suitable for all soil types and positions, however avoid full shade as the foliage will become sparse.
