Hortisales has existed as Horticultural Sales & Consultancy Limited since 2018, providing consultancy services and the wholesale trade with a wide range of hardy ornamental nursery stock from our base in Wimborne, Dorset.
I am Kevin White, the Director of Hortisales. I have been working in the horticultural industry since 1984 following my passion for plants. Not only within the nursery sector but also as a Garden Designer and Landscape Manager for one of this country’s leading landscape companies.
Over the years, I have been involved in some truly inspirational gardens for some wonderful clients. I have had the privilege of designing and constructing gardens not only at the RHS Chelsea and RHS Hampton Court Flower shows, but also for the Massachusetts Horticultural Society in Boston, USA. I have received several National Awards from the British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI).
On my travels, particularly around Europe, I have always been struck by the maturity and volume of stock that never appears to be offered by your local garden centre, here in the UK.
The professional trades person only has limited accessibility to certain ranges through their local trade nursery. However, there is a world of plants out there which everyone should have the opportunity to access.
