Prunus lusitanica Angustifolia – Portuguese Laurel

Description

Portuguese laurel has increased in popularity in recent years as grows into a medium to large hedge like Cherry laurel but has a much smaller leaf so you can create a finer manicured look to your boundary hedge.

Evergreen bright ovate and pointed green leaves adorn red branches that bring colour to the garden in the winter cold.

Suitable for most soil types and positions although the foliage will be sparser in deep shade. Avoid planting in a windy location.

Creates an excellent boundary hedge from 1.50m to 4.0m high.
