Description

The Mediterranean Fan-Palm is a native of Europe is a broad shape, tends to have a main single stem surrounded with smaller stem offshoots. The Evergreen leaves are pale green on the upper side and then covered on a whitish down on the underside.

This plant continues to grow in a broadly round shape and ultimately can reach 4m high with multiple trunks, however it is widely used in large containers and as a feature plant due to its compact habit.

Full sun required. Grows well in all types of soil as long as its not overly wet and stagnant. Should be planted in a sheltered position away from the wind.
