Cupressocyparis Leylandii – Leylandii Hedging

Description

The Leyland cypress is a hybrid cross between the Monterey Cypress & Alaskan Cedar and forms a fast growing evergreen hedge. It has a compact, conical habit with dense regular branches from the ground upwards.

Left unchecked this conifer will grow up to 15m high but can be maintained in the long term at a height of around 3m to form a good boundary hedge if trimmed annually. Withstands hard pruning and has excellent regenerative qualities.

Planting distance 60-90cm apart.
