Elaeagnus Ebbingei Vivileg

Description

This relatively new variety of Elaeagnus makes a beautiful evergreen hedge in a short time with its upright semi-compact habit. Its central green leave with yellow / golden margin brightens up a dark area. 

This variety of hedging can be particularly useful as a deterrent as it also has a thorny stem.

Ideal for creating hedges 1.2m – 1.8m high. To create a good hedge the top & sides should be pruned / clipped annually. 

Grows in almost all types of soil and tolerates maritime exposure.

Recommended planting distance – 2.5 plants per linear metre using a 10L plant.
