Fatsia Japonica

Description

Fatsia japonica is an evergreen shrub with upright branched stems and distinctive architectural foliage which makes it perfect for creating the tropical style in your garden.

Also known as the Japanese Aralia it grows to a height and width ultimately of 2m and looks great alongside Bamboos, Palms, Olives and other architectural plants.

It produces round creamy-white clusters of flowers that can be seen amongst the leaves in the Autumn. 

Plant in well drained soil in a sheltered sunny position.

Protection can be required in extremely cold weather.

Suitable for growing in borders and containers.
