Laurus Nobilis

Description 

Also known as as Sweet Bay or Bay Laurel, Laurus nobilis is grown in a multitude of forms and sizes, from Kitchen Bay, topiary and ornamental shapes to boundary hedging and screening trees.

Evergreen with elongated leaves 5-8cm long, undulated along the edges and narrowing at both ends. Apart from being extremely ornamental they are very aromatic and used to flavour food.

Grows well in all types of soil, even dry. Tolerates salt exposure and town pollution.

Origin: Native of Northern Asia and very popular in the Mediterranean.

Other topiary shapes including cones, balls, and lots of half standards available by request. Hedging ranging from 1m to 3m high is also available to order.
