Osmanthus x burkwoodii

Description

This evergreen plant is well branched so is ideal for mid-height hedging. Osmanthus has vibrant dark green oval to elliptic leaves and produces very fragrant white flowers in March-April.

Lightly trim in mid-summer to keep in shape. Osmanthus is suitable for all soil types and positions, however avoid deep shade as the plant will become sparse and will not bear any flowers.

Suitable for hedges 1.25m to 2.0m high.
