Stipa tenuissima Pony Tails

Description

This Mexican feather grass has soft and graceful silvery-green threaded leaves that grow up to 60cm high. This perennial grass grows into a upright, compact tuft that will gently sway in the breeze. From mid summer it will develops soft feathery seed heads above the foliage.

Stipa tenuissima requires a full sun position in well drained light soil and will grow up to 60cm high by 45cm wide.

Great combined with other grasses or mixed flowering perennials.
